Title: World Memory Championships 2004 Post by: Andy Zarse on August 16, 2004, 04:47:08 pm Which one of our brother (and sister) hood do you think we should put forward as a potential contestant?
I nominate the member who was supposed to be at Silverstone over the weekend, but who didn't quite make it. He was all up for it on friday morning, so we were a bit surprised that we got no response from his phone when we called to find him on the campsite on Friday night. His excuse? Well, I had a text message on Saturday morning from him which I quote in it's entirety - "Bad news, can't make the weekend. Forgot, it's my wedding anniversary. Have a great time." Can you guess who it is yet, kids? Title: Re:World Memory Championships 2004 Post by: smokie on August 16, 2004, 11:46:53 pm Glad it wasn't me. I forgot the anniversary two years ago (it's in late August). Last year I forgot the MOT (Feb). So I delayed the MOT till August (well, to be honest I didn't realise till August) so I when I remember that the MOT is due, I know I have an impending anniversary.
Or vice versa of course. Title: Re:World Memory Championships 2004 Post by: Snoring Rhino on August 18, 2004, 10:33:26 am Glad it wasn't me. So when the car's knackered, will you have to swap the wife as well to match the new MOT?
