Title: Shelby Collection in the UK
Post by: Ruptured Duck Motorsport on July 04, 2004, 08:50:46 pm
Just a quick heads up - I was in the Haynes Motor Museum doing some volunteer stuff on Friday and had forgotten they now have 1 x GT40 and 3 x Cobras based out of the museum for 3 races this season round Europe.

If you go into the Hall of Motorsport and look left, you cant miss 'em.  They are around until the end of the Summer except when they are out racing.

This is it!

I was at the museum on Friday, 2nd visit in 5 years. Must go more often!

I'm sure I saw another one as well, blue if i remember. Not on display bu I could just see the fuel filler through a gap in a blanked off window.

You may have seen me - I had a 2003 LM tee shirt on and 2 scruffy kids with me!

I'm sure I attached a pic of the GT40.  It was white with a blue stripe if I get this next attachment wrong!

Yeah, I saw you there, nearly thought to ask if you went this year, etc...  but decided against it!!

I was tall "big boned" bloke wandering around in a green polo shirt helping get the millenium hall ready for a golden wedding bash at the weekend.
