Title: New SPS transport Post by: Robbo SPS on June 23, 2004, 09:40:54 pm I am considering this....
Could be cool to see the mini appear from the rear..... May give my new welding skills a bit of work. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36799&item=2482436224&rd=1 Sorry for the E bay link, but its all in the name of Le Mans Also just seen a better candidate http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/touring/tourbus.htm Title: Re:New SPS transport Post by: Stu on June 23, 2004, 11:15:43 pm Did you see the blue one on MB with the roller shutter on the back and the '7' in the back. Me and Brian as soon as we saw it said 'Eat your heart out Robbo'. You should buy it and get it on Pimp My Ride which is currently on MTV. They do a fantastic job. Valspar paint never looked that good to me. I'm sure they used to sell it in Woolies.

Title: Re:New SPS transport Post by: rcutler on June 24, 2004, 11:38:44 am I have to guess that what JP has seen on Ebay is a refridgerator lorry?
Be aware most of these are unable to refridgerate unless they are being driven as they require the airflow to keep the motor cool. I am considering a large generator next year and share out the power at a cost. See you tonight JP. I am considering a large generator next year and share out the power at a cost. Surely that would be profiteering???? ;D See you tonight JP. Will do!! Hope they've got a telly for the footie, otherwise may have to plan the Classic trip quickly and leave early to get back to Basingstoke to watch it!! Title: Re:New SPS transport Post by: jpchenet on June 24, 2004, 12:05:30 pm Oh, and the refridgerated truck (7.5 Tonner) can run off mains as well as the engine!! :)
Title: Re:New SPS transport Post by: rcutler on June 24, 2004, 01:19:11 pm So you will need that genny to run it then ;D
The Genny would only be a split charge of running and hire costs plus a small extra charge for the cost of towing it down. It would knacker the fuel consuption on my van. |
