Aluminum - Nooooooo ;) Jag-war - OK - I'm giving up.... Nice meeting some of our ex-colonials with an appreciation for the finer things in life - Like Le Mans :D If you've made it online - I hope you enjoyed your stay. If so, had great time and the Liverpool Boys were super hosts. Can't imagine anything better. See my post under General Discussion, tales and memories, page four. If you are not the same Mark, sorry, but it was a blast anyway.

Or should I saw Howdy Pardor ;) Glad you enjoyed it. You now have to make sure you're on the same trip next year and at the same time of year and you can escape from the Swiss early Friday morning again. Le Mans - it's addictive :) Title: Re:Hi to Bart and the Liverpool boys Post by: johnevans3 on July 05, 2004, 09:50:40 pm Hi Mark. Sorry to take so long getting back to you. I've been in Colorado for a week and have not been on the CA site. I had a blast and really enjoyed myself. I've even poked a little fun at you on another thread about being in Gilles car on those cobblestone street and especially the "hard" brake test. OOOH! AHHHHH!. You probably don't remember a thing. I did enjoy walking past the locked gate and on to the track at 1:00AM. Sorry, we didn't spend more time Sat. afternoon when I saw you at the beginning of the race. Time just went so fast. Didn't see you at the "Poo" Bar Sat. night, did you make it? Anyway, am thinking about trying to see if I can make it again. Don't know anything yet, it's a few paychecks off you know. By the way, I still want a ride in the car!!!
Title: Re:Hi to Bart and the Liverpool boys Post by: Brian(Liverpool boys) on July 06, 2004, 12:09:42 am John, if you do make it, there will always be a tent at the mad house for you.
Regards. Brian. Title: Re:Hi to Bart and the Liverpool boys Post by: johnevans3 on July 06, 2004, 07:39:25 pm Brian, you are a generous man and I really appreciate the offer and what you guys did for me. You guys, Gilles, and Big H really helped me. I am hopeful to make it again. I just don't know at this time. I know that I would do some things differently. I like the grandstand seats so would probably try to get one of those. Also, will not be bringing luggage for two week stay in Europe to Le Mans. The ACO needs to put on their website, NO LUGGAGE STORAGE AT THE LE MANS GARE. I was probably the only one of the 2 or 300000 there who had that issue. Anyway, as time goes on, I will let you know. Thanks again and tell the Liverpool Boys Howdy for me.
