Title: GPS systems

I know the french police do not like the use of radar detectors, but what about GPS systems.

I have a GPS system on a PDA which sticks to the window to help me find my way out a paperbag, but do the french police mind these units or do they pull you over just for "Le Helle" of it ?

I'm taking mine, with my french Speed Camera overlay to try. Don't know what the legality of them is though.  Its just a satnav if any french plod asks.  I've sadly put the carrefour POI overlay in as well. How sad is that.

GPS is that the system which helps you back to your tent no matter how much youv'e drunk?

Apart from getting me to Le Mans in the first place.

Who wants to get back to the tent when their drunk,

Yes but in the morning you think how the hell did i get back, little realising it is your homing beacon  kicking in that does it.
