Title: Free Camping
Post by: Nobby Diesel on May 27, 2004, 02:33:12 pm
If you're still struggling to get sorted for somewhere to pitch that tent, pick up a copy of the new edition of EVO.
There is a competition in there run by Audi.
GA tickets ;D, hospitality over the pit ;D, Friday access to pits and meet the drivers ???, camping on the Audi complex :o.
Winner advised 6th June, all you have to do is get yourself there, oh, and win the competition.

"The question" I hear you ask is.............

"which country is the Le Mans car race held in?"

Hmmm.......

I was always led to believe that it was held in a small corner of England!!! ;)

Yes, just outside Wokingham, judging by the posts elsewhere.

Probably be better in the 'Help' section. I'm sure someone will know the answer.

I bet it stumps some of the backward baseball cap brigade who make up some of their readership...

(with due apologies to any of our esteemed members who also read EVO!)

No offence taken Smokes.
A printer friend of mine supplies me with early free copies of many of the monthly mags.

He says that when business is slack, printers end up printing the more dubious top shelf type publications.

At present, he is on reduced hours ;D
I may therefore, have a substantial supply of thrash mags for distribution in MB.

WS at the ready!!!

Top man Nobby. Our group normally spend a small fortune in the newsagents opposite the tills at Carrefour!

Havn't you ever wondered what happened to the land that used to be where The Wash is now?  Well that's the bit they used for Le Mans.  ;D

You've probably heard that many times before, but they say that Italians have Monza, Germans have Nurburgring, Americans have Daytona, and English have Silverstone and Le Mans...

On my recent visit to Silverstone I would disassociate the UK from it.
