Title: Re:laguna seca Post by: Fax on May 17, 2004, 06:35:43 pm Hi Wishy,
The outright lap record at Laguna Seca is held by Helio Castro Neves in a CART Champ Car at 1:07.722 (118.969 MPH) John Title: Re:laguna seca Post by: Ruptured Duck Motorsport on May 17, 2004, 07:03:55 pm almost as quick as me on the PS2
welcome Wishy jnr. Title: Re:laguna seca Post by: Fax on May 17, 2004, 08:42:36 pm Never quite understood the Playstation thing, or video games at all for that matter. I got a PS2 a couple of years ago as a gift and have used it maybe three times. I just get bored as sh*t with video games. Would rather be doing something real, out on the bike, etc.

Title: Re:laguna seca Post by: Fax on May 17, 2004, 08:55:04 pm Never know about those wacky Brazilians...Helio probably goes commando.
Title: Re:laguna seca Post by: Fax on May 17, 2004, 10:04:47 pm I suppose I should clarify that wasn't slagging people who play video games. Got a brother, nephews and friends who love them and can play for hours on end.
Just that I've got the attention span of a budgie and after two minutes on the PS2 I'm getting distracted. John Title: Re:laguna seca Post by: redstu on May 17, 2004, 10:30:06 pm PS2
I just bought it to keep my son entertained, honest! but sometimes he needs some help. That probable won't last long though as he's growing up fast. Title: Re:laguna seca Post by: Matt Harper on May 17, 2004, 11:04:14 pm A good few years ago, I got TOCA Touring Cars game for PS1 and really enjoyed playing it - but it f**ked-me up.
After playing the game, I felt dizzy, particularly when I went to bed (a bit like the effects of alcohol on young teenagers) and it was quite nauseating. I didn't associate the game to the dizziness and just assumed that I had a massive inoperable brain tumor - or something equally jolly and fatal. When I finally figured it out, I moderated my track time and avoided Donnington, as I believe it was the topography that did my head in. I was perfectly OK with Sonic the Hedgehog, you'll be pleased to learn. Title: Re:laguna seca Post by: wishy on May 18, 2004, 08:44:58 am If it's any consolation to those who play on games consoles
When jnr asks me to play,I decline..........mainly because he is a wizard at driving games and I am c**p.! The other week I had a Nissan Skyline fully kitted and he had a standard Golf GTI and he completely trounced me. So the moral to the story ...is....I give up!!!!!
