I can see there's at least one bicycle freak (The Rickmeister). That's good. I can see he's a roadie (ie. if he posts his own picture... ;) That means you have now at least two bicycle freaks on the forum.

But if I get there next year, I'll definitely take my bike. You know, those bike addicts can't think straight if there's no bicycle around.

Post by: ridefast on May 17, 2004, 10:17:57 am: I used to ride a PROPER bike, and I used to ride it fast (no men with guns involved though).
For reasons unclear even to me I sold my proper bike and bought a mountain bike instead. I suppose it had something to do with a bunch of downhill freaks. After some years and a couple of more or less serious injuries (and loads of fun) I went Cross Country racing and I love it (actually I take part in MTB marathons which are some sort of bicycle endurance racing). ;D
