Title: ACO letter...What does it mean???
Post by: Russ on February 05, 2004, 01:39:16 pm
Hi,

Got a letter from ACO about my request for a Houx Annexe camping pass...

Nice little table, I'm sure many of you have had similar.

Under 'Area' there's two entires...

Aire Accueil Beausejour

and

Aire Accueil Houx Annexe

Then under 'Fare (e)'

Against Beausejour it says 45,00-SERIE A and a Quantity '1'

Against Houx Annexe it says 0,00-LISTE ATTENTE and a Quantity '1' and somebody has taken the trouble to highlight this in bright green with a highlighter pen.

In the Total column there's a 45,00 against Beausejour and 0,00 against HA and a grand total (including post & tax) of 54,15e

??? Now what I need to know is...

Which campsites have they got me a ticket for, are they saying there's none for HA but I can have BJ instead? or have I got a HA ticket for free? If I send them 54,15e will I have a pass for HA and BJ??

(For BJ read Beausejour... and not the other thing!  ;D )

It's all a bit unclear for the non-speaking/reading french people amungst us!!

Anyone any ideas? I Don't want to miss out on the HA ticket and I'll get the BJ one to flog on here (at cost of course).

Cheers.

R.

And clearly I can't even get my own language right so what chance do I have of understanding french!!!  ::)

Hello Russ, have you been hibernating.

Basically, the ACO have offered you a ticket in Beasejour (or Camping Merde as known to others) and put you on the waiting list for Houx Annexe.

If you pay for the ticket now you MAY be offered a Houx Annexe ticket by the ACO instead closer to June as it was your first choice.

Another (slightly) connected thought.

The Serie A price for BSJ is 45 euros whilst Houx Annexe is 37 euros.

I wonder what extra you get in BSJ for your extra 8 euros? - maybe the long walk to the Village!

Thanks Steve,

Yes it's been a while since I've moaned on and on about the likes of MRI  >:( and put in my two penneth of utter rubbish!

Been busy getting convicted of a life sentence of marriage...

Well hopefuly a life sentence this time anyway!  ::)

The upgrade from Girlfriend v28.0 to Wife v2.0 went smoothly and I've installed McAfee's latest offering to protect against Mother-In-Law v2.0... is that the same thing as MyDoom ???

So in the scheme of things it looks like I'd be better to confirm my booking and hope to get the HA ticket nearer the time.

Cheers mate!  :)

Perhaps they've put some decent bogs and showers in the place.  That's 10 Euro more than last year, if memory serves me!

Hmmm, so what do you get for your 75 euros?  Are the toilets carpeted?

I'm sure they will be Steve after a couple of days, but I bet it won't be your best woven Wilton that covers the floor  ;)

For your €10 extra you get a shuttle bus to take you to and from the Entrance at Techno Park. ( Karting Nord )  so that makes it not so bad.

The bogs leave something to be desired though.
