Title: Fairground Attractions Post by: dryhen on January 25, 2004, 10:07:41 am OK, I've got the CA car sticker and the T shirt is on order - but how about Club Arnage doing something of real benefit for Lemons-goers?
I refer of course to the recent desperate lack of - er - adult entertainment in female form, and those somewhat elderly characters dressed in leather performing on the Wall of Death in the fairground ......... :( :( I think Gilles should find out who their agent is, book them and get a rival fairground going in Maison Blanche......Nobody would mind making space I'm sure ;) ;) ;) ;) Title: Re:Fairground Attractions Post by: dryhen on January 25, 2004, 10:10:16 am There ..... I've done it!.....at last.....started my very own topic! Been thinking what to say for years........and I've even got a reply already ;D ;D

The fair is now much more politically correct than it used to be (stalls such as The Fattest Lady; Nudes With Snakes; Strippers etc etc have gone - hence my suggestion above !) but still (or did last year) features a Karting track that is highly dangerous (pissed Brits thinking its the dodgems ::) ::) ) and several vomit-inducing apparatus which should not be approached too closely due to the lumpy rain that showers down on passers-by ::) ::) As far as rides, it rather depends on what you define as a ride ....... ;) ;) ;) Title: Re:Fairground Attractions Post by: Ruptured Duck Motorsport on January 25, 2004, 01:27:05 pm ahh, the glorious old days when the fairground was a proper event.....

I may not make a very convincing woman, but let's face it, most of the punters will not be in full command of their senses, or walletts. A little, blusher and foundation here, some ducktape there; the right moves, lighting and a coy smile will go a long way. What do you reckon? a leather clad dominatrix, frilly wild west saloon bar gal, a 20's vamp a la Marlena Deitrich.. Excuse me a moment. I must visit the lavatory. Right now. Quote It would certainly make me go a long way ......... Title: Re:Fairground Attractions Post by: Robbo SPS on January 25, 2004, 06:39:45 pm The SPS ladies may volunteer for the "fair ground" although the photos arent clear enough.

Title: Re:Fairground Attractions Post by: Steve Pyro on January 26, 2004, 12:29:44 am don't forget the shotgun shooting gallery...... How do you shoot a shotgun? Do they hang the shotguns at the back and you take potshots at them with those little air guns ? Small targets ?????? ??? ;) Title: Re:Fairground Attractions Post by: Steve Pyro on January 26, 2004, 12:32:03 am ......but still (or did last year) features a Karting track that is highly dangerous (pissed Brits thinking its the dodgems I used to love watching this. The track was surrounded by a huge inflatable barrier and many 'drivers' used to get shunted and be ejected from the karts and over the barrier. Much hilarity. :D Title: Re:Fairground Attractions Post by: dryhen on January 26, 2004, 05:30:44 pm Quote from: Steve Brown Do they hang the shotguns at the back and you take potshots at them with those little air guns [quote No,Steve - The shotguns face you, and the last Brit alive wins the prize ! :D :D Pedantry lives !! :) :) Title: Re:Fairground Attractions Post by: jpchenet on January 26, 2004, 06:16:42 pm Did you see it there last year.
