Title: Test Day Post by: Barry on May 24, 2023, 09:28:15 am I'm lucky enough to be at test day this year. Never been before so a couple of questions.
I know that there are a lot of changes this year, but would be interested in a heads up on info in previous years. Are all the entrance points open to the circuit? Any Grandstands? I am ACO member so can normally access 17 & 18. Car parking? I have a disabled parking ticket for P 7, I wonder if it will be open? Are the spectator areas at Arnage & Mulsanne open? Do Radio Le Mans transmit on FM at the circuit that day? Thx in advance. Title: Re: Test Day Post by: geoffd on May 24, 2023, 09:55:05 am As far as the ones I have used, yes, all entrances are open.
ACO Grandstand is open, and quite a few of the others, including Dunlop(Goodyear). Not sure on Parking, a reasonable amount will be open I'm sure Arnage & Mulsanne are open, they are usually my first port of call on test day morning. RLM hasn't broadcasted on FM in the past, but they will be available over the interweb. In past years test day has been a nice relaxed way of getting a first view of the cars, probably better than the race week practice sessions IMHO. Title: Re: Test Day Post by: Aysedasi on May 24, 2023, 12:05:36 pm Enjoy! I did the Test Day last year but didn't actually spend it inside the circuit. Instead I watched the whole day from the first floor of the Auberge des Hunaudieres on the Mulsanne Straight and had a wonderful lunch in the restaurant there to boot!

Spent many an hour watching the cars blast past. |
