Title: LM Weather post Post by: cja on May 31, 2022, 04:50:51 pm Still a couple of weeks away, but I get inexplicably drawn into long-range weather forecasts for Le Mans.....well, someone has to!
This morning, on the ever-reliable ::) Meteo France site, Saturday & Sunday were full wets/monsoon tyres!! :o This afternoon....that's become dry & sunny for Saturday & sun/cloud + poss thunderstorm, for Sunday. Give it a week and Meteo France will probably issue a snow warning! 8) Think I'll stick to Gav's Weather Vids and I can only ever understand 1 word in 5, there! ;D Title: Re: LM Weather post Post by: Kev_mk3 on May 31, 2022, 05:21:28 pm I had lunch last week with my old neighbour in France, she said its been over 30 degrees for weeks not far from Le Mans :o Currently looking for waterproofs just in case lol
Title: Re: LM Weather post Post by: chrismc on May 31, 2022, 05:48:53 pm The good old BBC long-ranger suggests partly cloudy but mid 20’s from Weds 8th through til the Monday. Dropping off to 9 or 10 overnight.
Sounds more than acceptable to me for the moment Title: Re: LM Weather post Post by: cja on May 31, 2022, 10:11:20 pm I had lunch last week with my old neighbour in France, she said its been over 30 degrees for weeks not far from Le Mans :o Currently looking for waterproofs just in case lol Sounds like a plan! ;D Title: Re: LM Weather post Post by: cja on May 31, 2022, 10:13:36 pm Yes, the BBC one certainly sounds more acceptable
Title: Re: LM Weather post Post by: Aysedasi on June 01, 2022, 09:53:24 am As I understand it, it looks like I'll get a decent dousing at scrutineering on Friday and Saturday at for the Test Day on Sunday, but things seem to be looking p thereafter.

Can't wait. Title: Re: LM Weather post Post by: chrismc on June 04, 2022, 11:52:23 am Same here. Absolutely can’t wait now.
Over the bridge to Wales Tues evening to then motor down to Folkestone in the motor home. Might get an earlier crossing if we are lucky but not holding my breath tbh Title: Re: LM Weather post Post by: ewan on June 07, 2022, 10:22:52 am It's looking like it could be a bit toasty...
https://meteofrance.com/previsions-meteo-france/arnage/72230 has it a bit breezy on Weds & Thurs, and possibly stormy on Sunday >:D (https://i.postimg.cc/9QWDGCy5/Screenshot-2022-06-07-091548.png) (https://postimg.cc/WhHpVR9X) and Dark Sky looks a bit warmer - https://darksky.net/forecast/47.9271,0.1876/uk212/en (https://i.postimg.cc/DwB86HcW/Screenshot-2022-06-07-092030.png) (https://postimg.cc/QFK8x6ws) Title: Re: LM Weather post Post by: Kev_mk3 on June 07, 2022, 12:21:44 pm just what we like to see!
