Title: French speed limit on minor roads drops from 90km/h to 80km/h Post by: Grand_Fromage on July 03, 2018, 05:23:11 pm Just a reminder to anyone travelling down for the classic on the back roads route, that from 1st July French minor roads that used to have a speed limit of 90, now are limited to 80 (just under 50mph).

The old N138 is included as are all the old route nationals. If it's a single lane in each direction with no barrier in between then it's 80 kph. TBH I generally travel well below the limit anyway Title: Re: French speed limit on minor roads drops from 90km/h to 80km/h Post by: lofty on July 04, 2018, 01:38:36 pm Plod out in force yesterday with their hairdryers.Good job i was stuck behind a campervan. Most locals still belting along at 100kph though.
