Title: French radio commentary? Post by: RobP on June 11, 2017, 08:47:45 am Hi. Is there a French **FM radio** race commentary at the circuit? A couple of French-speaking family friends are joining us this weekend for their first LM experience. Obviously there is the tannoy system around the track itself, but is there a radio broadcast as well that can be listened to in the campsites? Frequency?
Cheers, Rob Title: Re: French radio commentary? Post by: Steve Pyro on June 11, 2017, 10:40:46 am From memory, yes. Its not far along the FM waveband from Radio Le Mans 91.2 (in English). I think in French, its 96 FM.

The radio seemed to be down on power/range this year. Title: Re: French radio commentary? Post by: cja on June 23, 2017, 05:43:02 pm If I strayed too far from the circuit I kept getting INTER radio. Actually quite good classic rock! The radio seemed to be down on power/range this year. Thanks, so it wasn't just me.......... That was a little annoying, as I like to hear the commentary as we approach the circuit for the night sessions Still can't do without RLM, tho!! Exceptional job, those guys do. Here here (or even hear hear) to John Hindhaugh and the team. Splendid as usual - the Blowers of motor racing. (and it's not often I can say that I went to sleep on a Saturday night with a man's dulcet tones in whispering in my ear... ;D ) |
