Title: Coming Down From Le Mans Post by: aricus654 on June 22, 2016, 09:04:23 pm Hi! For me, and Tristan Le Mans is a full-on emotional experience, even more so this year. Apart from Friday, I don't drink much beer, so when I come home, that it what I lust after, but as its straight into work, it has to wait. What do others do? A Title: Re: Coming Down From Le Mans Post by: Werner on June 22, 2016, 09:07:21 pm Take a shower!
Title: Re: Coming Down From Le Mans Post by: Bonio on June 22, 2016, 09:26:09 pm Go to the chippy, followed by a shower then drink copious amounts of cider and wish I was still in a field in France with my muckers.....
No work until Saturday though, so had loads of time for the post Le Mans chill and get rid of the blues. Title: Re: Coming Down From Le Mans Post by: championaudi on June 22, 2016, 09:38:10 pm proper man's 'S*it shower & shave !!'

Starts kickin' in about 2 hours before the end when realizing the finish is now really getting near. :(

Trying to get some more stuff done for the blog, but time isn't on my side. Will have my LM detox next weekend, 4 days on a festival : bbq, beer, Jack D and maybe some music. Title: Re: Coming Down From Le Mans Post by: Si H on June 23, 2016, 01:55:06 pm Catch up on some sleep, enjoy the excitement on my son's faces when they wake up and find I'm home. If it hadn't been for the migrant delay in Calais on Monday those two things would have been the other way around (without the boys waking up to find I'm home as they'd already be awake!)
A couple of days home and the thoughts start arriving in my head for next year. I know I said I couldn't afford it 'cos of the family holiday to Florida next year and Mrs H was upset enough about her not being able to join me this year that I suggested I'd give it a miss until 2018 but could I sneak a visit to La Sarthe??????
