Title: E tickets on smart phones Post by: Barry on June 09, 2016, 11:53:23 pm Seem to remember some members loading there e ticket onto their phone and using the barcode on the screen in the scanners ( Tom? )
Did it work? Title: Re: E tickets on smart phones Post by: Kiters on June 10, 2016, 12:45:21 am Does state on the ticket that tickets on electronic devices will not be valid and the e tickets must be printed on white A4 paper with a laser printer. Why they do that and not except on devices I suppose is because of fraud, who knows but print a few copies of just in case of liquid damage ;D

Hi Barry, Yes, Basically I used Redlaser to scan the barcode then used the Redlaser copy of the barcode in the scanning turnstiles. BUT. It does not work with the hand scanners used at the MB entrance. So for sure you need to have a printed copy. I find that loading things like my Tesco Clubcard and Waitrose card has similar problems. Though in case of Waitrose it tends to be the hand scanner in the Restaurant for the free coffee works fine, but the hand scanner for the scan as you shop and at the check out can't scan from the Redlaser copy. Though it's a bit academic as you have to have your Waitrose card to release the scanner anyway these days. t Title: Re: E tickets on smart phones Post by: smokie on June 10, 2016, 08:38:52 am Tom - seems Redlaser is defunct - see http://redlaser.com/
