Title: Re: Flag Poles Post by: Lord Steve on June 06, 2016, 09:07:30 pm I have adapted two extendable steel net curtain poles with fixing clips for the flags screwed into the tops and jubilee clips to stop them collapsing into themselves. £1.99 each from The Range. They are only 2.4m high but fasten with cable ties and gaffa tape to the tops of the gazebo legs.
We won't have the tallest flagpoles on Houx but will be proudly flying the Flag of St George and an original Club Arnage flag. If any of you lot on Houx want to come over for a beer look out for a green and white striped gazebo, the two flags and a grey BMW. You will be very welcome if we are chez nous. I can get some CA branded ones. It'll just take me another err...... 8 months :P Aricus Title: Re: Flag Poles Post by: aricus654 on June 06, 2016, 10:44:36 pm I have adapted two extendable steel net curtain poles with fixing clips for the flags screwed into the tops and jubilee clips to stop them collapsing into themselves. £1.99 each from The Range. Steve Steve, Did you buy these from The Range in Peterborough? I hear it's very good for shopping there, if you have a few hours. >:D I will look out for that CA flag as I'm on Houx - if you see mine, you are most welcome too. Steve Aricus Not sunny Peterborough I'm afraid but Halifax (wherever that is.....). It's amazing what you can get in those places. I will certainly make an effort to find you. We are Rang 46, Place 3. Anyone got a map? Steve Steve, Did you buy these from The Range in Peterborough? Not meant as a flag pole, more a glassfibre pole to move wires, but stronger than any flag pole we have had.
