Title: motors tv chanel change
Post by: championaudi on March 12, 2016, 05:35:43 pm
The freeview channel has recently changed from Ch 71 to Ch240

Whist I didn't have a problem with the old channel my TV now shows the message, 'your device is not compatible' on the new one ,

nothing has changed. Ariel, TV, etc., & even after retuning the TV , the same message,

any ideals, I cant cope with just a season of banal WRC coverage, matt neal moaning ,& Formula 1 expert mrs Wolf.........

Sadly, you need to have an HD capable freeview box or TV and it needs to be connected to the internet.

Full info from motors on this link

I've always watched via ch 240.

We have a BT TV box.  You hit 240 then wait until the red light appears on the screen, then press the red button on the remote, wait a bit more & then up she pops!

sadly I'm getting a bit narcked by it now,

I can get BBC HD 1/2 etc so my TV is supposedly HD freeview ready, I had no probs when on old CH71

Sky/Virgin tv or Le Mans, I guess it's back to the cave with only a june outing  >:(

Odd

I have to say I always get it on 447 on DTV

Is the Freeview service that different?

And can you not try 447 outside your Freeview system?

Must admit all this modern stuff overwhelms me often

Frequently

What ever happened to BBC1 and ITV?

:(

EDITED TO ADD

Oh bugger

I'm NOT getting it on DTV but on Sky so that's a slap in the face  I'm owed

Keep it gentle or wait til I am well clowned
:(
