Toyota alraedy confirmed their participation until 2017 - Now let's hope fro a similar statement from Audi!

That - and any other manufacturer rumoured to be wanting to pitch into it!

Funny really that so many people over the years have complained about the Audi domination, I am sure that this has encouraged other Marques to try harder and even join in, which ultimately gives us better racing. All we have to do now is hope that Toyota get their act together and joins in the party for 2016.

How many days to LM24?

Toyota will be in WEC for 2 more years.  New car next year with a completely new engine.  No more big V8 but a small turbo engine with probably an 8 megajoule hybrid system (comparable with Porsche).  They won't do much development on the existing car for the rest of the season though, so we'll get an Audi/Porsche battle for the remaining races. 

Now it's waiting for an announcement by Audi. Ullrich said last month that they are developing the car already for 2016, but didn't mention how long they would stay in WEC.  I've heard that Rebellion will extend also for 2 years with AER engine, but that's not offical yet.

- Audi (2 cars, 3 at LM)
- Porsche (2 cars, 3 at LM)
- Toyota (2 cars, possible 3 at LM)
- Rebellion (2 cars)
- Strakka (1 car)
- Nissan ?
