Title: Justin Wilson 1978-2015
Post by: Boorish Grobian on August 25, 2015, 05:39:04 am
Justin Wilson succumbed to injuries suffered in the Indycar race at Pocono yesterday.  He was struck on the head by debris when race leader Sage Karam crashed heavily in turn one in the closing laps of the 500 miler.  I'm simply gutted and don't know what to say, he was one of the genuine good guys in the sport.
Rest in peace Justin.

Such a shame as an innocent bystander - so to speak.  Same as Henry Surtees, John's son.

RIP Justin

It was announced that he has saved six lives with his organ donations, a class guy to the end. Yorkshire should be very proud of him.
