Title: Brittany Ferries 2016 Post by: landman on July 22, 2015, 12:12:47 pm Just received an email informing me that BF have opened up booking for Winter 2015 plus Spring/Summer 2016.
Their Economie fare between Portsmouth and Le Havre starts at £79 each way and a cabin for 2 is £85 one way. I'm tempted to book. It had 8 passengers. :o Title: Re: Brittany Ferries 2016 Post by: garyfrogeye on July 31, 2015, 08:28:29 pm Remember, it's only a Frogeye, I doubt I'd get more than 6 in at a time!

Also out Portsmouth/Caen Tuesday night, back Caen/Portsmouth Sunday night. Hoped it would be a bit cheaper booking early, but cannot see any signs. It cost £303 overnight for the three with a cabin on the outward leg Wednesday, and yet there were no club seats available for the return Monday even though I booked on receipt of the email. All sold out. Very strange. The price will only go up as time progresses, but for the moment it's still the same.
Title: Re: Brittany Ferries 2016 Post by: lynxd67 on August 13, 2015, 02:53:25 pm I'm doing the JDC day at Prescott on the Sunday before Le Mans with the XKSS and was somewhat surprised to find that the 3 hour trip from Cherbourg to Portsmouth (return) was cheaper than the overnighter to Le Havre. With club seats I've paid £238 return, and while I know the outward leg is not a problem the return the Monday of Le Mans week might have been. Just a heads up for you looking for cheaper booking.

I'm impressed that both the JDC and BOC (Bugatti Owners Club who run Prescott) have got their act together so soon Title: Re: Brittany Ferries 2016 Post by: Barry on August 14, 2015, 08:06:42 pm Out on Monday night boat, Pompey/St Malo.
