Title: Radio
Post by: Snoring Rhino on April 19, 2015, 06:48:43 pm
It seems that I need to replace my radio, LM is not LM without Radio Le Mans. So going to treat myself, have a budget of upto £65. Been looking at Roberts sport's for fm + dab+ or Sandisk for FM + MP3 ? My good lady got me ISSI Freeloader to keep the juice up for it and the IPhone & camera, just which Radio???? Any suggestions?

I'd get a cheap one for LM, then you don't get upset when you lose it when you're tired and emotional.  ;)

Or go for it.

They're a bit quiet, but comfortable over the hours

http://www.clasohlson.com/uk/Peltor-Radio-Ear-Defenders/40-8046

and on entering the site you should get a 10% discount code

I took delivery of a pair of these just last week!

Great minds think alike  ;D.

Cheaper on Clas Ohlson than Amazon etc.

I've been looking at things like those, for a while but the Peltor reviews say they are a tad on the quiet side.

Is this accurate, or are the reviewers just expecting too much??

Thanks Chaps, yes I had looked at these Peltor's and quiet fancied them, but was abit concerned about the low volume feed back (I am quite deaf in both ears)  and also wanted to use them for my morning cycle to work with either radio or MP3. Thought about cheap option and a mid option such as the Sandisk.??????????

What an odd choice of person to model them. I suspect that we're not their target audience

These look identical to the £100 Peltors, and also suffer from being quiet at 82dB.  I've used mine for 3 years now

Good value here, as £70 at Amazon and Klas Ohlsen

The picture is clearly aimed at men who like to be dominated, so at home here ;D

The cans arrived this morning and whilst I appreciate that June will be the real test, I have to say they seem bloody excellent!

Great noise blocking and clear radio/mp3 sound from the phone attached to them.

I bought a cheap Sony thing from Amazon for about a fiver with some Motorheadphones that were in a sale. Job jobbed.
