Title: Top Gear Post by: Lord Steve on March 03, 2014, 01:58:14 pm Anyone watch Top Gear last night? Who was the gormless grinning bloke over James May's left shoulder during the "News" section. Hilarious!
Title: Re: Top Gear Post by: clkgtrlm1 on March 03, 2014, 03:18:30 pm I did spot him!
I thought it was a manikin - a' la C and A shop front style! LMFAO Title: Re: Top Gear Post by: gt6 on March 03, 2014, 04:49:52 pm Yep saw him looked like he was there for a gurning competition
Title: Re: Top Gear Post by: clkgtrlm1 on March 03, 2014, 05:26:30 pm Should really try to clip that from iPlayer and Tweet it to Top Gear.
Does anyone understand how to do that?????? ;D ;D ;D Title: Re: Top Gear Post by: Jules G on March 03, 2014, 06:08:52 pm You mean this chap

Who was the gormless grinning bloke over James May's left shoulder during the "News" section. Hilarious! wow - top gear is really on the down hill slope, if people are watching the audience, rather than the presenters Title: Re: Top Gear Post by: Lazy B'stard on March 04, 2014, 03:05:01 pm Can't believe anyone actually interested in cars and motoring still watch that shite.
Title: Re: Top Gear Post by: Jules G on March 04, 2014, 04:21:18 pm Can't believe anyone actually interested in cars and motoring still watch that shite. It's an entertainment program drrrrr ;), anyway much better than watching Geordie Shore ;D Title: Re: Top Gear Post by: gt6 on March 04, 2014, 09:02:59 pm As long as you watch it with a pinch of salt it is entertaining rather than informative
Title: Re: Top Gear Post by: Lord Steve on March 04, 2014, 09:15:16 pm I think that they've lost the plot this series. I've previously defended them in the face of my wife's ridicule but the last two programmes have indeed been crap.
Title: Re: Top Gear Post by: Grand_Fromage on March 04, 2014, 09:40:34 pm Agreed.
They have yet to work out that when you use essentially the same gag played out over and over again, it stops working after a while. JC is much more amusing in print these days than on TG. I think that they've lost the plot this series. I've previously defended them in the face of my wife's ridicule but the last two programmes have indeed been crap. I've previously defended them in the face of my wife's ridicule but the last two programmes have indeed been crap. Are you saying you have a ridiculous wife or am I reading this wrong ;D I do not bother any more either, to watch it that is not call your wife ridiculous. >Martini...LB Title: Re: Top Gear Post by: Newcastle Dave on March 05, 2014, 07:45:39 pm it has become drivel.
Climbing out of car windows and back in the other side - drivel It was worth seeing his face when he realised that he couldn't defy the laws of physics with an aquaplaning bmw. To then blame the car - drivel. The last four? episodes have contained only about 20 minutes worth watching and I cant be bothered to think back which 20 minutes that was. Title: Re: Top Gear Post by: mgmark on March 05, 2014, 11:01:10 pm If you have even a vague notion about mixing cars and entertainment it is simply utter shite these days....
MG Mark Title: Re: Top Gear Post by: geoffd on March 06, 2014, 01:58:24 pm Yup they hit rock bottom spending half the show on the bicycle thing, what was that about, and quarter of the show was wasted on two red fast, and expensive, shopping cars hooning around the track. And they failed to film the BMW spin from the outside, or had I nodded off at that point?
Oh well, it's the Christmas Special this coming sunday, they haven't been tooooo bad at times, at least they aren't filmed on the same boring piece of airfield tarmac. |
