Sadly, one of our guys has lost his job and with money tight has had to withdraw from this year's trip to la Sarthe. This means we have 1-2 places available in our happy little group if anyone is brave enough to join us. We're located a few moments walk from the track on MB and if you've been there in the last 5 or 6 years you'll probably have seen our telly in the evenings ;D It's far more than a GE ticket and a place to pass out sleep, we run it as close to 'all inclusive' as we can, basically, this is the deal:
- GE ticket for race week
- 2-man tent space
- A mere 60 second walk to the track
- Big Screen (3.5m wide!) with full HD TV coverage of the race for when you can't be arsed to walk the 200m to the track ;)
- Proper cooking facilities with hotplates, stoves, deep fryers, BBQ and full bar facilities with at least 2 ice chilled beer/cider products on tap; usually Carlsberg and Thatchers Gold (subject to change depending on whether Stella is on special that week!)
- Meals included all week
- We're not too hardcore, a good atmosphere with friendly banter in which to enjoy the worlds biggest motor race
- And finally of course, Carl's unique week-long lighting show (read: buggering around with the leccy) which is a spectacle in its self ("how come he never electrocutes himself?")
So all you need to do it turn up with your tent, clothes, your shaving tackle and some euros for your food and bars in the circuit and enjoy a great week's racing and socializing with a friendly bunch where everyone’s welcome ... If you're interested and want to know more, feel free to PM me.
