I'm not getting you on that one - I mean, the colours, numbers and stickers are all different....and where's the McLaren M6GT?

Bit the same as modern cars, at a given stage of development, regulations and competition the best solution will be the similar, but of course they did not have CAD in those days so observing and working someone elses ideas that seem to work in would have been fair game.
