Title: WEC photo competition, the results Post by: Kristof on January 04, 2013, 10:06:41 am Just got the results in from the WEC photo competition on facebook.
Made it as final runner up ... close, but no cigar. https://www.facebook.com/fiawec (http://i959.photobucket.com/albums/ae77/Raceshot/SAH_20120316_VER8190_small.jpg) Title: Re: WEC photo competition, the results Post by: Lorry on January 04, 2013, 09:24:16 pm Tough luck

I entered the Lizard porsche at night which wasn't the best picture I took at Le Mans or Silverstone last year but I thought it was different to the norm hey ho ;D I did like the R18 in the Spa pits with the clouds reflecting off the windscreen, I was sure that was a contender ??? I hope the recovery rehab is going well for you man Title: Re: WEC photo competition, the results Post by: Kristof on January 08, 2013, 12:37:41 am Thanks guys !

I hope the recovery rehab is going well for you man I'm on schedule and will make it to Sebring. Started rehab 268 days before the gates at Sebring are open, and been counting down since then ... 64 to go now 8) Title: Re: WEC photo competition, the results Post by: Fran on January 08, 2013, 10:40:01 am Loving your work as always Doc.
I can't access the pictures at work now but if I remember correctly, was the R8 with clouds the one with the orange windscreen? If I have the right one, I thought that it had the potential to be brilliant, but that the reflection of the gantry overhead made it look a bit cluttered - just purely the screen full of sky would have been beautiful. That said....I know nothing about photography, but I do know what I like! :) |
