Title: Turning the Lights Off
Post by: NorwayNick on June 08, 2012, 10:51:49 am
I guess there is no point turning the lights off this year, so those of you stuck at home have fun watching it on Eurosport  :P

You can buy a one month's subscription to Eurosport and watch on their PC player.

Last year there were 2 feeds.  Pretty good coverage.

Yes, but sadly I didn't win lotto last night and there's still the minor issue of getting back to NZ for an exam on monday morning.  As much as I am well practised in the art of time travel even I can't get the numbers to work on that one (unless I leave before the race starts).   :(

Sadly the pc player doesn't work "in your geographical location".  Still RLM got me through last time I wasn't there, and I'm sure they will get me through this year as well.

Doris. You ought to pick some links to streaming coverage on the midweek motorsport listeners collective on FB.

You can sort that problem out with http://www.iportal.me/index.php
I use it for getting round the same problem with BBC iplayer from France.
You can cancel your subscription within a month and pay just £5.00.

Audi are streaming the race free http://tv.audi.com/portal/#/01
Otherwise it's another fiver:
http://www.eurosportplayer.co.uk/offers.shtml

Hope you get to see the race - you'll walk the exam. :)

Thanks KPY tv.audi saved to Favorites, but now, as has often been planned, need to stop washing properly frm Wednesday while starting to drink, peeking in the evenings, sleep on the floor between a pair of speakers banging out Techno........but no, wont really work cos the most excellent company will be missing, roll on next year.
