Title: 2012 Tickets on eBay
Post by: PAFC OK on June 05, 2012, 03:49:28 pm
Just had a quick look on eBay with a very generic "Le Mans" as the search string to find that there are many camping/general tickets available from 99p, some ending in the next few minutes. Get in there!!!

Yeah, eBay was very quiet for ages, but over the past few weeks there has been a flood of tickets being put up for sale,  seems to be more than usual to me.

It says a) it will be quieter this year b) you pay a small premium for the knowledge you've got a pitch weeks before the race.

It might also be an indication that people have decided over the years that there is a few quid to be earned by buying extra tickets and then selling them on ebay to the people couldnt get any and who actually want to attend!

They may get their fingers burned this year.

It SHOULD also say, in big bold warning signs, DO NOT CHECK EBAY FOR LE-MANS TICKETS WITH YOUR 9 MONTHS PREGNANT WIFE SAT BEHIND YOU.

Has anyone got any witch hazel? I appear to be covered in scratches and bites.....

I managed to sell our spare one on ebay over the weekend for a £60 buy it now price. I failed to tell him about Purdu's snoring and how close we are to the Brethren encampment. However, as the buyer states on his facebook page, his hobby is ......"Drinking", I think he'll fit in fine ;D

One of those tickets is mine.   :(

Advertising on here, Beermountain & Pistonheads didn't work, so I've had to resort to eBay.

I'm asking what I paid for it, but I'm seriously worried.

There seems to be a lot more tickets going, both here, eblag, and through the aco than previous years. Just picked up grandstand tickets through the aco, and its only ten days away. I wonder if its fallen off the radar of the more casual drinker? Not being a loaded / fhm / zoo or nuts reader, I wonder if Kev could tell us if mention has been made in those hallowed journals of our little bit of fun.

Either that, or people think 'if I'm going to go to an Audi demonstration ill pop over to the showroom'

He doesn't just have a new amp - he's got a new set of speaker cabs too..... Old Skool Black Widow Drivers in them - they should ROCK!

After some of the photos I've seen posted on Facebook of you recently Pig Pen- Ladies clothing would appear to be entirely appropriate.... little flower with that sir?

I was trying not to put anyone off camping near to BrethrenVille but yes... the cabs are savage and will allow everyone to find their way home safely. However, Sweet Home Alabama is banned....
