Title: French Police get Renaultsport Megane 250 Cups
Post by: Kev_mk3 on February 18, 2011, 01:20:26 am
Ok, they've had a couple of Halo cars before as most will have seen the Scooby WRX's the police in France used for a while. However they now have upped there game and have 70 Renault Megane RS250's on patrol. Just a heads up before Le mans time.

So just look out for them as you trundle through France on route for those who do the annual pilgrimage to Le mans

Brilliant. If they can manage to get it started, they will be off in a cloud of understeer smoke on the first corner they get to. Bloody awful cars. ;D

Well at least for me......I have no worries about speeding....i'd be lucky if my Berlingo reaches 85mph,let alone break the speed limit.... ;D

85mph is breaking the speed limit!

But they won't believe a Belingo can go that fast.

I stand corrected.......I always thought the speed limit on autoroutes was  85mph!.....!

I'll have to see whether the Berlingo will reach the heady heights  of 78mph then ;D

So to get the Megane onto the target, they need to add a helicopter, 2 bikes, and 2 more bikes waiting at the peage to the mix?  Doesn't seem like a particularly efficient use of resources to me, but it's probably not wise to test the theory that the faster you go, the less able to catch you they will be....
