Google maps - directions
Was looking at how long it would take me to get to Goodwood, just incase I go one day.
Saw by car and then noticed walking option, so had a go at that, nice short walk, via where!!!!!! ::) (more fun when you do start point Glasgow)
I wonder what other routes google gives for other trips

If you choose John O Groats to Lands end you get the option of going via Belgium and France.

I think you're all being a bit picky.
It does warn that it may be missing some of the firmer surfaces.
