Anybody going to Silverstone this weekend, aiming to take my son, Sam, this year to see the race. Planning to go Sat & Sun at present, was going to try (Ha Ha ::)) and find a hotel but may have dropped a big one there. Oh well Might see other CA's there. Title: Re: Silverstone Post by: knetter on July 05, 2010, 11:04:57 pm What race?
Title: Re: Silverstone Post by: Brad Zarse on July 06, 2010, 12:35:01 am Knetter - Its British Grand Prix weekend.
Neil - You may remember bird and petrolslut from a few years back - they will both be there. I have their contact details if you want to contact them.....they're the only people I know that are crazy enough to pay that much money for a 2 hour race, which will probably be a touch processional.....although new circuit layout could make things interesting..... Title: Re: Silverstone Post by: Brad Zarse on July 06, 2010, 12:13:52 pm Good point Tom - kev - If I were you, I'd be thinking seriously about getting to the circuit for about 5am if I were you..... In my experience that's the only way to do it!
We used to sleep in the queue back in the day....I even got hustled through the gate once, and ended up with an un-torn ticket..... Sold it to a tout through the fence for about £30 if I remember rightly.....
